cheVron solutions is an Ontario-registered corporation based in Kincardine, ON. Opened in September 2021, it is owned and operated by Larry E. Walton, P.Eng.
Larry is an energy-sector professional with over 35 years of experience in the power generation industry. In addition to positions with Ontario Hydro, Ontario Power Generation and Bruce Power LP, Larry was a senior consulting engineer and part-Owner of NA Engineering Associates Inc. and subsequently a director with Westinghouse Electric Canada after they acquired NAE in 2019.
Larry’s experience includes the provision of consulting engineering and project management services to such companies as Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, Aecon Industrial, Kinectrics, and numerous other Owners and suppliers supporting the nuclear industry.
Over the course of his career, Larry’s positions and accountabilities have included Senior Consulting Engineer, Design Authority, Supply Chain Contracts Manager, Quality Manager, and Field Engineer. He achieved ASME NQA-1 Lead Auditor status in December 2023.
Larry has served on many community and charitable endeavors including Rotary International, local fundraising initiatives, and the Kincardine Heritage Committee. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Lake Huron Coastal Centre.
